Eyra is an immersive audio platform that creates natural soundscapes in indoor spaces, using authentic field recordings from Finnish nature, combined with handcrafted musical elements.

Real nature sounds – no AI

Certain nature sounds have been shown to calm the nervous system, support focus, and promote a sense of wellbeing. Eyra brings this healing sound environment into the spaces where people live, work, and recover.

In today’s world, truly quiet and untouched natural places are becoming increasingly rare. As human noise expands into even the most remote areas, we believe it’s more important than ever to preserve and share the pure sounds of nature – recorded on location, without interference or artificial generation.

Authentic Recordings from the Finnish Wilderness

All Eyra soundscapes begin in the field – captured with care in forests, by the sea and in wild natural environments across Finland. The focus is on recording real, unspoiled nature ambiences at different locations, during different seasons, and at all times of day and night. This creates a rich and diverse collection of sounds that follow nature’s rhythm, giving Eyra the ability to generate unique soundscapes shaped by both randomness and the listener’s preferences.

These recordings are part of an ongoing archive built over 15 years, with most material recorded in Ostrobothnia, where Eyra is based. New sounds are continuously added as we return to familiar places and discover new ones.

Organic Musical Elements

Alongside the natural ambiences, Eyra features soft, acoustic tones from instruments like singing bowls, chimes, bells and tongue drums. These sounds are carefully chosen and recorded in our own studio, to blend naturally into the environment and support a sense of calm and inner balance.

The collection of musical recordings continues to grow, shaped with the same care and sensitivity as the nature sounds themselves.

Each soundscape evolves over time. You’ll never hear the exact same thing twice. The sounds shift gently throughout the day, creating a calm, natural rhythm that flows with the space and time.

How Eyra works

Every space is unique, so we work with you to create something that feels perfect for your room and how you use it. We’ll handle the technical setup and craft soundscapes that make you feel at home.

The Eyra Player

Each Eyra unit is a dedicated sound device that runs our custom playback system. It creates living, breathing soundscapes that evolve continuously and organically without interruption or repetition. The player operates silently and autonomously, designed to become an invisible part of any indoor environment while transforming how that space feels.

Speaker Setup & Planning

We plan each installation based on the room’s layout and acoustics, considering both how to create the best sound experience and how to naturally mask unwanted noise. Whether it’s a single or a multi-room system, we tailor the speaker placement for balanced, natural sound throughout the space.

Remote Configuration & Connectivity

Every Eyra Player connects to our server via Wi-Fi or ethernet. This allows us to manage settings, schedule playback, update content and provide support – all remotely. Once installed, the system runs quietly in the background with no action needed on site.
